Castlefields Juniors and Prince Hotel B had a great match in the Barry Jennings Cup Final on Old Shrewsbury No. 2 with the Prince winning by just one chalk.
Player of the Match, Jack Peach, got the Juniors off to a good start with 21-13 but he was their only winner off the front three, Peter Thomas 21-12, Elias McNichol 21-13 and Charleigh Butler 21-15 for the Prince. The middle was shared with Owen Hamner’s 21-7 for Castlefields making the scores level going into the last two games. The Prince’s Nicki Hotchkiss had the key card as she won 21-9, just doing enough as Dave Peach replied with 21-10.
