Criftins were the winners of the Consolation Cup by a comfortable 25 chalks against Wrockwardine Wood.
The Wrockites were not helped by an unfortunate late withdrawal of one of their players and with no reserve available had to regrettably give a game away. Despite this they put in a spirited display, winning four of the five games played, Steve Faulkner 21-10 and Josh Cotton 21-11 keeping them well in the match at the start. However, a Player of the Match performance from Jess Lacey put Criftins in control and built on Owen Jackson’s 21-10 at No.1.
