Wrockwardine Wood were the 2025 Knockout Cup winners beating Adderley by 21 chalks on Old Shrewsbury No.1 green.
They got off to a good start with three winners on the front with Josh Cotton leading the way 21-10 as they went 14 up. Adderley responded in kind with three wins in the middle, the best coming from Player of the Match Kerry Dance with 21-5. The Wrockites Martin Williams was their only winner but it was a crucial 21-9 to give them a narrow 2 chalk margin going into the back. Steve Downes 21-10 and Nathan Lacey 21-13 both won for the Telford side to give them in the end a comfortable win by a margin of 21.
League Chairman, David Charles, presented the Knockout Cup to Wrockwardine Wood captain, Josh Cotton, and Player of the Match Cup to Kerry Dance.
