Nigel Ferrington was the winner of the Wem and District League 2025 Singles competition, played at the Prince of Wales Hotel Bowling Club on Sunday 15th June, when be beat Andy Cooke 21-10 in the final.
His road to the final saw him beat Tony Hotchkiss, Jack Cooke, Keith Wall and then Nick Marshall 21-16 in the semi final. Andy overcame Ron Miller, Elias McNicol and Neil Ashley to reach the semi final before beating Shropshire County Junior, Ellis Griffiths, 21-12.
There were 25 entries and Nigel is pictured above receiving the trophy from the Landylady of the Prince of Wales, Charleigh Butler.
