The AGM was held at Old Shrewsbury Bowling Club on Thursday 20th February 2025 when Mike Spencer was appointed President in succession to the late Ant Lewis who passed away just before Christmas. Mike will continue in his role as League Treasurer, a position he has held for 30 years since the very beginning of the League.
Four new teams were admitted from Greenfields B, The Rhyn (Weston Rhyn), Unison and Wem USC. In addition, whilst Castlefields B have withdrawn from the League they have been replaced by Castlefields Juniors. All five teams will start in the lowest division.
Fixtures will be available in March with the League starting on Monday 7th April 2025.
Secretary, Graham Hughes, urged all clubs to enter the cup competitions, especially those in Divisions 3 and 4, as they gave the opportunity for players to appear in semi finals and finals. He emphasised that the Knockout and Consolation Cups were open to just 1st and 2nd Division teams and the Barry Jennings Cup and Elizabeth Taylor Trophy to 3rd and 4th Division teams only.
